How it works
The lymphatic system is a crucial part of your body's immune system, acting as a waste disposal network. However, unlike the circulatory system, which has the heart to pump blood, the lymphatic system relies on muscle movement and breathing to keep fluid flowing.
During an MLD session, our therapists use a specific sequence of light, rhythmic motions applied gently to the skin. This precise technique stimulates the lymphatic vessels located just beneath the skin's surface, encouraging them to contract and gently pushing the stagnant fluid toward the lymph nodes, where toxins and waste are filtered out and naturally expelled by the body.

What to Expect
When you arrive at Omnia Lifestyle for your MLD treatment, your session will begin with a brief consultation to understand your specific needs, medical history, and goals.
You will be asked to lie down on a comfortable treatment bed. Unlike deep tissue or sports massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage involves incredibly light, feather-like pressure. The therapist will use slow, rhythmic strokes, typically starting at the neck to clear the primary lymph nodes, before moving on to the rest of the body.
The treatment is pain-free, deeply relaxing, and meditative—many of our clients actually fall asleep during their session. Afterward, you may feel remarkably light, refreshed, and relaxed. You will be advised to drink plenty of water following your appointment to help your body easily flush out the newly released toxins.
