Cellulite is not a sign of being overweight. Up to nine in ten women have some after puberty, whatever their size. It forms where fibrous bands tie the skin to the muscle underneath: fat cells push up between the bands while the bands pull down, and the result is dimpling on the thighs, buttocks and hips.

At Omnia in Chiswick, your first visit is a 60-minute Discovery Session for £99, which includes a consultation, an assessment and a full treatment. Follow-up sessions are £70 for 35 minutes, £100 for 50 minutes and £120 for 60 minutes. You pay after each treatment, and a course is only discussed if you want one.
No cellulite treatment is permanent, because the structure of the skin that causes cellulite does not change. A course of LPG softens orange-peel texture and firms the skin, and results are kept with an occasional maintenance session, strength training and a stable weight.
Most people notice a change in skin texture after six to eight weekly sessions, and stubborn or fibrous cellulite usually needs a longer course of around ten to twelve. Your therapist gives you an honest estimate at your Discovery Session, after assessing your skin.
No. Most people describe LPG as a deep, firm massage, and some fall asleep. The intensity is adjusted for each area and for your comfort throughout the session.

Drink water, keep active and add strength training for the legs and glutes if you can. Muscle under the skin makes cellulite less visible, and moving helps the drainage effect of each session.
LPG Endermologie is non-invasive and suits most adults. It is not used on the abdomen during pregnancy, or with active cancer, infection, phlebitis or a blood clot, open wounds or inflamed skin.
