Hormone imbalance test
Irregular periods, acne, hair changes, weight gain, low mood or poor sleep can all have a hormonal side. Test the hormones behind them at our Chiswick clinic, from £69, with no GP referral.
No fasting needed for hormone tests on their own.
These symptoms have many causes, and a blood test cannot diagnose a condition on its own. It shows which hormones are outside their range, so you and your doctor know where to look next.
Oestradiol, progesterone, follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinising hormone (LH), testosterone, SHBG and prolactin, with thyroid hormones and, in the wider panel, AMH, cortisol and DHEA-S. Our laboratory partner Randox analyses every sample.
Every price includes the blood draw, laboratory analysis by Randox and your results report. GP feedback and GP consultations are available on request, at an extra cost. Appointments only.
If you have periods, FSH, LH and oestradiol are usually measured in the first few days of your cycle, and progesterone about 7 days before your next period is due. We help you choose the right day when you book. Hormonal contraception changes these results, so please tell us if you use it.
Fasting for 8 to 12 hours, water only, is needed for tests that include cholesterol or glucose. Hormone and single tests usually need no fasting. We confirm what applies to you when you book, and offer early appointments for fasting tests. We see clients by appointment only. Stop biotin supplements for 48 hours beforehand, as biotin can affect some hormone tests.

Explore the body
Every panel is built from groups of markers. Choose a part of the body to see what it tells you, which tests cover it and what they cost.

Questions
Book your blood test
Choose a test above, or book a general appointment and we will confirm the right panel with you.
Testing is carried out in partnership with Randox Clinical Laboratory Services, an ISO/IEC 15189 accredited laboratory (UKAS Lab ID 9329). Where a panel has female and male versions, the difference is mainly the hormone and tumour marker selection. All prices include the blood draw, laboratory analysis and your results report. GP feedback and GP consultations are available on request, at an extra cost.
These tests do not replace care from your GP. If you have worsening symptoms, unexplained weight loss, bleeding or severe pain, please see a doctor first.
Yes. A blood test measures your hormone levels and shows which are outside the reference range. It cannot diagnose a condition on its own, so we suggest you share your results report with your GP.
Our Hormone Health Check, with eight sex hormone markers, costs £69. The Hormone and Thyroid Panel costs £99. Prices include the blood draw, laboratory analysis and your results report.
FSH, LH and oestradiol are usually measured in the first few days of your cycle, and progesterone about 7 days before your next period is due. We help you choose when you book.
Yes, but hormonal contraception changes many hormone results, so tell us when you book. Thyroid and other markers are not affected in the same way.
No. You book directly with us, by enquiry, phone or WhatsApp. A GP consultation is available on request, at an extra cost.
