Cupping at our Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in Chiswick, West London, two minutes from Turnham Green station. A 30-minute cupping session is £60, or cupping can be added to acupuncture or Tui Na.
Cupping therapy uses cups placed on the skin with suction, lifting the skin and muscle beneath to ease tension, stiffness and localised pain, most often in the back, neck and shoulders. Depending on what you need, cups are left in place for a few minutes or moved across oiled skin, which is sometimes called cupping massage.
At Omnia, cupping is part of our Traditional Chinese Medicine service and is led by Dr Jialin Zhu, a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Every session starts with a health screen, and the suction is set to suit your skin.
Research on cupping is mostly small studies, which suggest short-term relief for neck and lower back pain. Read what cupping is good for, our full guide to cupping therapy explained, or compare cupping and acupuncture.
