Clinical psychology at Omnia Lifestyle
Low mood, anxiety, anger, burnout: they rarely come from one place. At Omnia a Chartered Clinical Psychologist looks at the mind, the body, the nervous system and the life around you, and the clinic treats all of it under one roof.
Initial consultation £300. Follow-ups £225. By secure video. No GP referral needed. Recognised by major insurers.
Behind every diagnosis is a person. Behind every symptom, a story.
How we see you
Touch a dimension to see what we look at, and why one appointment with one professional often misses the cause.
The initial consultation, £300
One to one with Prof (Dr) Diwakar Sukul, by secure video call. Most people leave the first session with a clear picture of what is happening, why, and what to do about it.
We arrange a time that suits you and send the video link. Nothing personal is discussed at this stage.
A detailed history, then the questions most appointments skip: what is happening in your body, your nervous system and the life around you.
Which approach he suggests, roughly how many sessions it should take, and techniques you can start using the same day.
The aim is for you to manage your own triggers and need him less over time. With your consent he can write to your GP so care stays joined up.
What people bring to him
Dr Sukul is recognised by the major UK insurers. Cover for psychology varies by policy, so check with your insurer and obtain an authorisation code before you book. Self-paying clients book directly.
Beyond the consultation
Some people have tried therapy or medication before and it has not held. Some have mood, sleep, pain and energy tangled together. For them, Omnia offers something rare. Scroll to see how it works.
What is happening, in your own words. What you share reaches all three specialists, so you never repeat yourself.
Separately, and properly.
The Clinical Integration Review™. All three compare what they found and agree what is really driving the problem. This is the part that rarely happens anywhere else.
Your Personalised Recovery Plan™: what is recommended, who delivers it at Omnia, and how many sessions it should take. Treatment is priced in the plan, so you decide with the whole picture in front of you.
£1,500One fee covers all three assessments, the review and your written plan.
Not sure it is for you? Start with a consultation. If Dr Sukul thinks the assessment would help, he will say so.
Where the mind meets the body
Musculoskeletal health, women's health, weight management, longevity. Mental health is not a separate department here. Choose an area.

Head of Mental Health, Omnia Lifestyle
A Chartered Clinical Psychologist with more than thirty years in practice, Dr Sukul leads mental health at Omnia. He has spent his career on one idea: that a doctor, a psychologist and a complementary practitioner should assess the same person and agree one plan between them.
The focus should never be on which therapy is right. It should be on what is most likely to help the individual recover and thrive.
In sessions he is practical. He looks for the cause, explains what he sees in plain language, and teaches techniques you can use yourself. The aim is for you to need him less over time, not more.

Free, three minutes
Twelve questions across the four dimensions. It shows where the strain is sitting for you right now, and which kind of help usually fits.
A reflection tool, not a diagnosis or a substitute for professional advice.
Over the past two weeks, how often has this been true?

Reading
Five essays on the questions most mental health conversations leave out.
A diagnosis is not a biography. On loneliness, chronic stress, children, the multidimensional person, and the question conventional mental health rarely asks.
Read the essay →Intense emotion often comes with sensitivity and creativity. Why it needs channelling, not suppressing.
Read →ATP, mitochondria, neurons and the deeper mystery of thought.
Read →Since 2020, one crisis has followed another. What a permanent state of survival is doing to our minds.
Read →How a psychologist reads what a mind is doing, and why the reading matters more than the label.
Read →Dr Sukul publishes a new piece every few weeks. Leave your email and each one arrives the day it goes live. Nothing else, and you can stop at any time.
The next essay will reach you the day it is published.
