The THOR laser works differently: a handheld probe is targeted to the area being treated, such as a knee, a shoulder or the lower back, in a 30-minute session.

Research suggests photobiomodulation may help painful tendons, such as tennis elbow or an Achilles problem. The THOR laser can be aimed directly at the sore area.
For chronic joint pain and long-standing back or neck pain, light therapy may help as part of a wider plan that includes exercise. It is not a cure.
