Typical prices in the UK
Full-body LED beds and pods in London and other cities generally charge £30 to £80 per 20-minute session, with wellness clubs bundling them into memberships. Handheld or panel treatments for a specific area, often delivered by a physiotherapist or in a dermatology clinic, are usually £25 to £60 per session or included in a treatment fee. Introductory offers are common, and courses of ten sessions typically bring the per-session price down by 20 to 30 per cent.
What it costs at Omnia
At our Chiswick clinic, NovoTHOR full-body sessions are available as single sessions, courses and membership. Founding membership starts from £225 a month and is designed around the three-sessions-a-week pattern the research uses. THOR Laser for a specific injury is priced per session or combined with physiotherapy or manual therapy. Current fees are on our red light therapy page and confirmed when you book.
How to budget
Because the effect is cumulative, a single session tells you how it feels but not whether it works for you. A realistic trial is three sessions a week for four weeks, so budget for twelve sessions or a month of membership before judging. After that, maintenance at one or two sessions a week is where most people settle.
Home devices as an alternative
Quality home panels cost £300 to £1,500 and masks £100 to £500. Over a year of regular use a home device can be cheaper than clinic sessions for a skin-only goal, but it does not deliver full-body dose, and cheap products frequently do not emit what they claim. For pain, recovery or anything systemic, clinic treatment is the realistic route.
Insurance
Red light therapy on its own is rarely covered by private health insurance. When THOR Laser is delivered as part of a physiotherapy treatment plan, some policies cover the physiotherapy appointment. Check your policy wording.
