Frequently asked

How much does a clinical fitness and nutrition programme cost?

The short answer

Programme fees depend on length and what is included, and current options are listed on our Fitness and Nutrition page. Whether it is worth it depends on what you compare it with: a personal trainer alone is cheaper per session, but a clinical programme includes assessment, body composition tracking, nutrition and access to physiotherapy and treatment, which for people with injuries, conditions or a history of failed attempts is where the value sits.

What is included

Initial assessment with a clinician. InBody body composition and Styku 3D scans at the start and at each review. Blood testing where it would change the plan. A training programme with coached sessions, including Pixformance movement analysis. A nutrition plan built around your results and your life. Access to physiotherapy and manual therapy for anything that gets in the way. Recovery tools such as red light therapy and compression therapy where they fit. Reviews every four to six weeks against measured change. A maintenance phase.

How it compares

A personal trainer in London typically costs £50 to £90 a session, so ten sessions is £500 to £900 for coaching alone. A private physiotherapy course is a similar amount again. Body composition scans and blood tests are additional. A clinical programme bundles these, so the comparison is not against a trainer but against the combination of services you would otherwise buy separately, if you bought them at all.

Who it is worth it for

People who have tried programmes before without lasting results. People with pain, injuries or medical conditions that a gym programme cannot handle. People with a body composition goal who want to see muscle and fat change rather than a number. People who want the reasons for a plateau investigated rather than guessed at.

Who it is not for

Someone who is healthy, injury-free and simply needs a training plan and accountability. A personal trainer is the better value.

Paying and insurance

Programme fees and payment options are on our Fitness and Nutrition page and confirmed when you book. Physiotherapy components may be claimable on some insurance policies; the programme as a whole is not usually covered. We provide itemised receipts.
