Private sexual health testing, Chiswick W4
Private and confidential tests for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV, syphilis, hepatitis and more, analysed by Randox and explained to you by a practitioner.
Our STI Comprehensive screen tests a urine sample for chlamydia and gonorrhoea and a blood sample for HIV, syphilis, hepatitis B and hepatitis C. The STI 10 Screen uses PCR to check for ten infections including herpes, trichomonas and mycoplasma, and the STI Complete combines both.
Swab versions are available if you prefer, and single tests are available for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis.
The price includes the sample at our clinic, analysis at the Randox accredited laboratory (ISO/IEC 15189, UKAS Lab ID 9329) and a practitioner review of your result. A GP feedback report is available on request, and no GP referral is needed.
Some infections take time to show up in a test. Chlamydia and gonorrhoea can usually be detected from about two weeks after exposure, while a fourth generation HIV test is reliable from 45 days. Syphilis and hepatitis can take longer, so your practitioner will advise when to test and whether to repeat.
If a result is positive, we explain it to you and help you arrange treatment through your GP or a sexual health clinic. Free NHS sexual health clinics are also available.
For a urine test, try not to pass urine for at least an hour beforehand. No fasting is needed for the blood tests. Everything is handled confidentially.
The STI Comprehensive covers the most common infections. Choose a smaller test if you only need one or two checked.
Single tests for HIV or syphilis cost £49, chlamydia and gonorrhoea costs £59, and our STI Comprehensive screen costs £139, including sample collection, Randox laboratory analysis and a practitioner review.
