The first few sessions
Improved circulation and lymphatic drainage are immediate, so skin often looks brighter and feels smoother straight away, and many people notice less puffiness and a lighter feel in the legs. These early changes are largely fluid and circulation rather than structure.
Sessions six to ten
This is where the appearance of cellulite begins to change as the connective tissue responds to repeated stimulation. Skin texture evens out and dimpling reduces. Photographs taken in the same light before starting and at session six are the clearest way to see it.
End of course
Trials measure results at 10 to 15 sessions, and that is when contour changes and improvements in skin firmness are assessed. For loose skin after weight loss or pregnancy, change is slower and courses run longer.
Why some people see less
Long-standing, fibrous cellulite, poor skin elasticity, weight fluctuation, dehydration, smoking and inactivity all reduce results. Endermologie is not a fat-loss treatment, so it will not change shape where the issue is fat volume rather than skin quality.
Making results last
Maintenance sessions every three to four weeks, hydration, regular movement and a stable weight. Compression therapy and red light therapy between sessions can support skin quality.
At Omnia
The Discovery Session at our Chiswick clinic includes a tissue assessment so we can tell you what to expect for your cellulite type before you commit to a course. We take baseline photographs with your consent so progress can be judged rather than guessed.
