Omnia Insight 360 blood test in Chiswick

A 136-marker review across every body system, combining blood, urine and stool samples, for people who want the widest single-visit picture after Omnia Signature, read with a practitioner from start to finish.

What the test measures

Omnia Insight 360 starts with the essentials, a full blood count, cholesterol, liver, kidney, bone and thyroid markers, then goes much deeper. It includes advanced heart risk markers, heart muscle markers, diabetes autoantibodies, fructosamine, adiponectin, bile acids, NGAL for the kidneys, a full sex hormone panel, cortisol, DHEA-S, IGF-1, minerals and vitamins, immune and autoimmune markers, and a set of tumour-associated markers.

Two stool tests, calprotectin for bowel inflammation and a faecal immunochemical test for hidden blood, give a view of gut health. The panel also contains specialist markers of immune signalling and blood vessel lining, such as soluble TNF receptors, selectins and ICAM-1. These are mainly used alongside other tests and clinical assessment and have limited value as a stand-alone screen, so we read them as background rather than as answers in themselves.

Your price includes the sample taken at our Chiswick clinic, analysis at the Randox accredited laboratory, a practitioner review of your result and a GP feedback report on request.

Who it is for

  • You want the broadest picture of your health in a single visit.
  • You have symptoms across several systems, such as fatigue, gut changes and joint aches.
  • You have a strong family history of diabetes, heart disease or autoimmune conditions.
  • You would like a detailed baseline to track year on year with a practitioner.
  • You are comfortable collecting stool samples at home for the gut markers.

Understanding your result

Your report sorts more than a hundred values into body systems, each against the laboratory reference range. The practitioner review is where the value lies, as it connects patterns and separates significant findings from small, common variations.

Heart muscle markers, such as CK-MB, H-FABP and myoglobin, can rise after hard exercise or muscle injury, and tumour-associated markers can rise for many harmless reasons; neither diagnoses a condition. Anyone with chest pain, breathlessness or symptoms of a clot should call 999 or go to A&E, not book a test. Any flagged result is a prompt for discussion, not a diagnosis.

Preparing for your test

Fast for 8 to 10 hours with water only and book a morning appointment, ideally before 10am, for glucose, insulin, cortisol and testosterone. Avoid hard exercise for 48 hours, as it affects muscle and heart muscle markers. Pause biotin for two days where safe. We will give you stool collection kits with instructions; collect from one bowel motion, avoiding contact with toilet water, and return the samples promptly. Bring a midstream urine sample on the day.

If you want everything we offer, Omnia Signature is our flagship check. For gut symptoms alone, the calprotectin test may be enough. Compare every blood test and price in Chiswick on our hub page.

Questions

How much is Omnia Insight 360 in Chiswick?

Omnia Insight 360 costs £645. It includes your blood sample at our Chiswick clinic, the urine and stool kits, analysis at the Randox accredited laboratory, a practitioner review and a GP feedback report on request.

Why does it need a stool sample?

Calprotectin and the faecal immunochemical test are measured in stool. They help show bowel inflammation and hidden bleeding, which blood tests cannot detect directly.

Can it diagnose heart problems or cancer?

No. It includes markers that are used in those areas, but they are read with a clinical assessment and cannot diagnose or rule out disease on their own.

How does it compare with Omnia Signature?

Omnia Signature includes more markers again. Insight 360 suits people who want a very wide picture at a lower price.
