Before treatment
A short consultation covers what you want to change, any medical history, medication and skin conditions, and whether you are pregnant or have had recent surgery. The practitioner looks at and feels the areas to be treated to assess skin elasticity, tissue density and cellulite type, which determines the settings and how many sessions are likely to help. With your consent, baseline photographs are taken in consistent lighting so progress can be judged.
The body suit
You change into a fine, seamless full-body suit provided by the clinic. It protects the skin, lets the rollers glide without friction, and means no oils or creams are needed. It is not tight and most people forget they are wearing it within minutes.
The treatment
You lie on a treatment couch and the practitioner moves the M6 Cellu Infinity head over each area in a set sequence, usually legs, buttocks, hips, abdomen and arms for a body session. The rollers and flaps lift and roll a fold of skin with gentle suction. It feels like a deep, rolling massage. A full-body session takes 35 to 45 minutes; targeted sessions are shorter.
Afterwards
Skin is pink for an hour or so. You can go straight back to work, exercise or anything else. Drink water. You may notice a lighter feeling in the legs the same day.
What you leave with
An honest view of whether your cellulite or skin type is likely to respond, a suggested course length, and how it could combine with compression therapy or red light therapy. At Omnia in Chiswick the first visit is the 60-minute Discovery Session at £99, which includes all of the above plus the full treatment.
