What Endermologie is
Endermologie is a mechanical treatment developed by LPG in France in the 1980s. A treatment head with motorised rollers and suction lifts and rolls a fold of skin, stimulating the connective tissue and circulation beneath it. Over a course of sessions, this improves skin texture, the appearance of cellulite and skin firmness. It has been studied in clinical trials and is used in clinics worldwide.
What the M6 Cellu Infinity changes
The Infinity head combines rollers and motorised flaps that can move independently, allowing the practitioner to switch between lifting, rolling and vibrating actions and to match the intensity to the tissue being treated. Sensors adjust suction to the skin fold in real time, which improves comfort and consistency. Treatment protocols are shorter than on older machines, typically 35 to 45 minutes for the body, and the system includes programmes for slimming, firming, skin quality, post-surgical recovery and facial treatment.
How it compares with older systems
Earlier Cellu M6 models worked well but were less adaptable, and older Keymodule machines required more time and more manual adjustment. The Infinity delivers the same evidence-based mechanism with better precision, which tends to mean more consistent results across a course and fewer sessions to reach them.
How it compares with other body treatments
Unlike radiofrequency, ultrasound cavitation or cryolipolysis, Endermologie does not heat, freeze or destroy fat cells. It works on skin and connective tissue and is non-invasive with no downtime, which makes it suitable for regular use and for combining with other treatments.
At Omnia
We use the M6 Cellu Infinity at our Chiswick clinic. The Discovery Session, currently £99 for 60 minutes, includes consultation, tissue assessment and a full treatment so you can experience the system before committing to a course.
