Available as home visits
Physiotherapy: assessment, hands-on treatment and exercise prescription, particularly useful after surgery, for people with mobility limits, and for those who cannot easily travel. Acupuncture: full treatment with sterile single-use needles, often chosen by people who want to rest afterwards without travelling. Manual therapy and sports massage. Ayurvedic massage such as Abhyanga, where the setting suits relaxation. Vestibular assessment and treatment for people whose dizziness makes travel difficult. Tai chi and qi gong one-to-one sessions. Blood test sample collection can be arranged for some panels.
Clinic only
Anything that depends on equipment that does not travel: NovoTHOR full-body red light therapy, THOR Laser for some applications, LPG Endermologie, Body Ballancer compression therapy, InBody and Styku scans, Pixformance movement training, and Shirodhara, which needs a treatment table set up for oil flow.
Who home visits suit
People recovering from surgery or illness, older adults, those with mobility or balance problems, parents of young children, people with anxiety about clinics, and anyone whose schedule makes a clinic visit impractical. Also people who simply prefer to be treated and then rest at home.
What to expect
The practitioner brings a portable treatment couch and everything needed. You need a room with enough floor space for the couch, around two metres by three, and somewhere for the practitioner to wash their hands. Appointments run the same length as in clinic, with a small travel supplement.
