Which one should I book if I cannot decide?
Book manual lymphatic drainage. It is the most adaptable of the three and the therapist can redirect you at the consultation if something else suits you better. Or send us a WhatsApp message and we will tell you before you spend anything.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you are treating. Fluid retention from a long week often eases after one or two sessions. Post-surgical swelling and cellulite both respond to a course rather than a single visit. Your therapist will give you a realistic number after seeing you, not before.
Does it hurt?
No. Manual drainage uses less pressure than a standard massage, compression feels like a firm squeeze that releases, and LPG is a rolling sensation we adjust to your comfort. Tell your therapist at any point and they will change the intensity.
Is there anyone who should not have it?
There are conditions where lymphatic drainage is not appropriate, including certain heart, kidney, circulatory and infection-related conditions, and active cancer treatment needs medical clearance first. Tell us your full history when you book and we will check before you come in.
I have had surgery. When can I start?
That is your surgeon's decision rather than ours. Once you have their clearance, bring it with you and we will work within their guidance.
Can I have more than one type?
Yes, and many clients do. Compression works well as a regular top-up between hands-on sessions, and LPG is often combined with manual drainage through a course. We will build the combination around you.
